What is the Domestic Abuse Service?

Safe Horizons London Partnership is a collaboration of 13 specialist organisations, we will provide free:

  • confidential information and guidance,
  • trauma-informed support,
  • advocacy,
  • safety-planning,

to survivors of domestic abuse aged 16 years and over in London.

We are committed to offering a safe, respectful, and affirming environment for every domestic abuse survivor. We offer support regardless of whether a crime has been reported to the police.

Safe Horizons may provide advice and support to family members, friends and professionals who are seeking support on the victim or survivor’s behalf. If you think you are in immediate danger from your abuser/s, please call 999 and ask for the police.

How we can support you

At Safe Horizons, we want to make sure that anyone experiencing domestic abuse in London has the information and support they need. It can be difficult to recognise the signs of abuse from someone you are close to, and even more difficult to seek help.

Being scared, hurt, or feeling like you have no control in your relationship with a partner, ex-partner, family member or person/people in your community is not acceptable and there is support available. There are different types of abuse, not all domestic abuse is physical. It’s important to know that it’s not your fault, you are never to blame for the abuse that’s happening to you.

Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, you can get in touch by phone or start a live chat with us. Our specialist team is on hand to listen, advise, and help you understand what you’re going through.

We won’t judge your situation, tell you to do anything you’re not comfortable with. We will explain how we can help, whether you’re ready to take the next step or not.
